When something you’ve put all your effort into is taken from you, how do you cope? When your passion is so evident, but that apparently matters very little, how do you move on? I guess you just do. You move forward and take all the lessons you’ve learned and everything you’ve been taught and bring it into something new. My passion will stay with me and I leave behind a team, knowing I did everything I could to teach them and let them know how special and amazing and talented they are.
When you grow so close, you become a family. It’s hard to say goodbye because you won’t see them as often as you did but that bond is not broken. It will always be there. You really were friends first and co-workers second. The love and friendship is all that truly matters. The experiences we’ve had together and will continue to have together will not be in vain.
Trust is a hard thing to earn, and when you think you’ve got it, it’s hard to see otherwise. Boundaries are extremely important. Remember them for next time. There was one purpose and those boundaries shouldn’t have been crossed, but they were and now it will be hard to open them up again. It’s okay to feel anger and sadness about this. Just remember the stress is gone, the person who you thought you knew is gone from your life. There is no need to worry because in the end Karma will take care of everything.
Come out strong, because you are. Be confident, because you are. You have success and the tools to continue to be successful. You have an amazing support system filled with people who love you. Go, be free! Live the life you’ve always dreamed of, because now, you can.
