Time flies doesn’t it? It’s been almost 6 months since I’ve written a post and granted there’s only been two but life happened and priorities had to be set in place and unfortunately this blog was on the back burner. It’s 2018 and I want to commit to something this year. I’ve intended this blog to be about my wellness journey so here we go!
Welcome to Wellness everyone! Over the next couple weeks, I want to start the first of many series I have up my sleeve: “Sleep Well” My Guide to Better Sleep. Look, I know what you’re thinking, my sleep schedule is never going to be consistent – well I totally agree with you there! Mine is absolutely all over the place due to my work schedule also being all over the place. There are days where I have extremely early mornings, sometimes work begins at 5:30am and is as late as 10:30pm. It’s certainly not easy and there are days where I have 5 hours of sleep or less and take a nap after work (which really doesn’t help with sleeping later) and some days I will sleep in late but if you can improve the quality of your sleep, why not?!
No one is perfect, and my schedule will never be either. BUT, the tips, tools, and tricks I’ve learned to use have helped me tremendously with not only sleep, and as a result of this better sleep I am able to function and perform better during the day to really enjoy life.
